The MoU document related to the minutes of the 13th meeting of CPEC Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) was exchanged between Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal and Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission of China Liu Sushu. .

Earlier on Monday morning, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang arrived in Islamabad on a four-day visit to Pakistan, where he was received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Noor Khan Air Base.

According to the statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, this is the first visit of any Chinese Prime Minister to Pakistan after 11 years.

Apart from attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, the Chinese Prime Minister will also hold talks with the Pakistani leadership on bilateral relations.

Tight security arrangements and public holiday in the federal capital
