The House of Representatives held, this followingnoon, its emergency session, which was called for by Counselor Ahmed Manna, the Secretary-General of the House, yesterday evening, to consider the ministerial amendments. In accordance with the provisions of the internal regulations of the Council.
The cabinet reshuffles saw the following:
1- Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education
2- Hani Swailem, Minister of Irrigation
3- Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health
4- Mohamed Ashour, Minister of Higher Education
5- Suha Jundi, Minister of Immigration
6- Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism
7- Ahmed Samir – Minister of Industry
8- Lieutenant-General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Aviation
9- Hassan Shehata, Minister of Manpower
10- Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture
11- Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development
12- Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Public Business Sector
13- Major General Mohamed Salah El-Din, Minister of Military Production
Emergency Parliament session and cabinet reshuffle
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, will continue in his position for more than 4 years, as he was assigned to form the Egyptian government in June 2018.
The last ministerial changes witnessed by the government of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly were in December 2019, when Osama Heikal was appointed Minister of State for Information Affairs, Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Khaled El-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Mohamed Manar Enaba, Minister of Aviation, Counselor Alaa Fouad, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Nevin Jameh, Minister of Industry and Trade, Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and El-Sayed Al-Qusayr, Minister of Agriculture.
