Experts underestimated the impact of the sand cloud from the Sahara.
Belgian and French meteorologists predicted a sunny Wednesday with temperatures reaching 20 degrees. In fact, t-shirts and shorts were not in order, the announced 20 degrees having turned into 12 or 13 to break everything. Meteorologist David Dehenauw made his mea-culpa on Twitter. “I had reasonably well estimated the cloudiness, but the temperatures absolutely not”he admitted on Wednesday followingnoon.
