The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl in the Plateau-Mont-Royal area.
Virginie Supreme Janac was seen for the last time on Wednesday following school and has not given any sign of life since.
Investigators have reason to seriously fear for his health and safety, Montreal police said.
The young black girl who speaks French is 1.57 m tall, weighs 62 kg and has black eyes and long braided black hair, according to the description made by the SPVM.
When she left school, she wore a dark blue sweater, dark blue pants (school uniform) and a gray jacket as well as a backpack, it was added.
Anyone with information that can help locate the teenager can immediately contact the nearest neighborhood police station.
