Today, Thursday, the price of gold in Egypt continued to rise, and the gram increased by two pounds, compared to its level in the middle of transactions, due to the rise in the metal globally, according to Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
And the price of a gram of gold jumped 9 pounds until midday trading today, compared to its level yesterday, to continue its rise at the end of evening trading, bringing the value of the increase to 11 pounds throughout the day.
Gold prices have seen big jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.

14 karat gold prices rose to 597 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold rose to 768 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold increased to 896 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to 1024 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound rose to 7168 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.

The global price of gold rose in the middle of trading today, Thursday, to about $ 1942 an ounce, an increase of 0.76%, at 3:56 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg Agency data.
