Walid Hassan, Head of the Central Department of Dentistry at the Ministry of Health, indicated that the Family Health Center in District 29 of the Tenth of Ramadan in Sharkia Governorate and Zahraa Nasr City in Cairo Governorate are being transformed into two centers specialized in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, pointing out that the Zahraa Nasr City Center has been equipped. To include specialized clinics to provide modern treatment services in sections (maxillofacial surgery – clinics for people of determination – root treatment – conservative treatment – pediatric dentistry – oral medicine, periodontal treatment, diagnosis – dental implants – orthodontics) in addition to the fixed and mobile prosthodontics section, and the center also includes two laboratories Equipped with the latest equipment.

Hassan stated that 63 training courses were held for 2,400 members of the medical team, including dentists, technicians and nursing in the specialized units in dentistry, accompanied by workshops in various fields of dentistry, pointing to the training of 4590 dentists (excellence) graduates of public and private universities within the dental departments of hospitals. and centers and units affiliated with the Ministry.
