1146 new infections in Tokyo, 8 deaths: Tokyo Shimbun TOKYO Web

The Tokyo metropolitan government announced on the 18th that it had confirmed 1,146 new cases of the new coronavirus and eight deaths. Bed occupancy rate is 23.7%.

The average number of new infections per week was 1367.3 as of the 18th, 63.9% compared to the previous week. The total number of patients in Tokyo is now 4,305,809.

By age group, 14 people aged 0, 54 people aged 1-4, 51 people aged 5-9, 113 people in their teens, 169 people in their 20s, 187 people in their 30s, 182 people in their 40s, 156 people in their 50s, 60-64 57 aged, 33 aged 65-69, 74 in their 70s, 34 in their 80s, 22 aged 90 and over. There are 163 elderly people aged 65 and over.

Eight men and women in their 70s to 90s died.
