LONDON: A ticket worth £111.7 million in Friday’s EuroMillions lottery draw has been presented to the UK National Lottery Department, officials said. The prize is equivalent to approximately INR 1146 crores. UK National Lottery officials said they had received a claim and it was now going through the assessment process. Once the ticket is validated and paid for, the winner can decide whether or not to share their information with the public.
In addition to the UK, people from Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland participate in the EuroMillions lottery draw.
The person who claimed the ticket will become the 18th UK holder to win more than €100 million in the EuroMillions jackpot. Lucky Stars 10 and 11 are numbers like 03, 12, 15, 25 and 43 which can win the jackpot amount. Tickets cost two and a half pounds.
