At 3:48 p.m., the Xizhi Branch of the New Taipei City Government Police Bureau received a report that there were earth and rocks on Lane 3 of Earl Street in the Earl’s Villa Community of Xizhi District, and the iron windows of the balcony of the house were smashed by stones. Pull the cordon and notify the fire brigade and related units to assist in disposal.
In addition, large-scale water accumulation occurred in the first section of Xintai 5th Road in Xizhi District, Nanxing intersection, and in front of No. 166 Renai Road. The muddy water at the scene was turbid, and the road markings could hardly be seen clearly. Step in muddy water, ankle-deep.
The Xizhi Police Bureau initially learned that although there is water accumulation at these two intersections, vehicles can still pass through, and traffic control is not required.
The Central Meteorological Bureau of the Ministry of Communications issued a special report on heavy rain for New Taipei City; the Water Resources Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs also issued a flood warning for Xizhi District, Wugu District, Sanchong District and Luzhou District of New Taipei City; Banqiao District, Xinzhuang District, Taishan District and Yonghe District is on the second-level warning for flooding.
