In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the ministry also specified that the number of first-timers reached 24,806,427, that of people who received two doses amounted to 23,285,210, while 6,255,664 people received had three injections of the vaccine.
The new infection report brings the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020 to 1,164,984, while the number of recovered people has increased to 1,148,556, i.e. a recovery rate of 98, 6%.
The new cases of infection have been identified in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (04), Casablanca-Settat (03), Marrakech-Safi (3) and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (1).
The total number of deaths is still 16,069 (lethality 1.4%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
Active cases number 359 while no severe or critical cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours, for a total of 11.
As for the occupancy rate of intensive care beds, it is 0.2%.
