Mountain summer feeling:
Up on the Goldeck – Spittal an der Drau’s local mountain – hiking routes await guests to enjoy, slow down and take a deep breath. The mountain is characterized by lush alpine pastures as well as fantastic vantage points and energy spots. Circular hiking trails above the tree line guarantee magnificent panoramic views. The Speichersee-Rundweg promises leisurely hiking directly at the mountain station of the valley railway. Active people who are looking for a challenge are enthusiastic regarding the 5-summit tour (Goldeck, Martennock, Staff, Eckwand and Latschur). The hiking trails are also ideal for Nordic walking or trail running, starting and finishing at the mountain station.
Mountain summer cuisine: In the Goldeck – Seetal hiking area, eight family-run rest stops with a wide variety of specialties invite you to make culinary stops. The breakfast offer is new on the “SEA HUT Goldeck” at the reservoir, in the immediate vicinity of the mountain station of the valley railway.
Mountain summer magic – sunrise at the Goldeck
Sunrises have always magically fascinated us. No sunrise is like the other. This early-morning experience of nature on the Goldeck is particularly fascinating.
With the “Talbahn Goldeck” you float towards the mountain station at 1,780 m. From there you can watch the sunrise spectacle at the reservoir lake and followingwards there is a wonderful mountain breakfast in the “SEEHÜTTE” Goldeck. Very sporty climb the Goldeck summit at 2,142 m above sea level to experience the sunrise there.
Mountain summer fun:
There is a great highlight for kids: the summer tubing track in the Goldeck Kinderland.
