11 female artists from the Sharjah Ladies Club in “World Arts”

The Sharjah Ladies Club participated, for the fourth time in a row, in the fifteenth edition of the World Art Fair Dubai.

And the club supported through its participation of 11 promising artists through the “Noun Art” exhibition, one of the most important cultural and artistic events that the club is keen to organize annually; To highlight the work of a group of creative Emirati women.

The club, in cooperation with the Sharjah Commission, organized a workshop for 8 girls; To be trained in the design of resin watches, the participants succeeded in presenting innovative products at the World Fair.

In the new edition of the exhibition, the club presented new artistic talents that keep pace with the methodologies of artistic creativity that it leads.

Fatima Al-Naqbi, Assistant Director of the Collage Center for Talents, said: “We are proud to participate in a global platform for the arts; Our participation came for the fourth time in a row out of our serious commitment to promoting art and culture, and supporting the creative scene in the country, as the exhibition is a forum for artists from all countries of the world.”

She added, “Our participation varied between digital media, inks, resin watches, and other arts presented by the Noon Gallery and Collage Talent Center, and we are excited to see the interaction of visitors and critics with the artists’ work.”

Sana Merchant, artistic supervisor, expressed her happiness for the participation of promising female artists from the club in a global platform that celebrates art, stressing that the participation focused on highlighting new faces in the field of art to provide a different qualitative addition.

She touched on the intensive training that 8 participants underwent, in cooperation with the “Sharjah Girl Guides”; To produce works, the affiliates succeeded in embodying their talent.

The participants in the exhibition showcased their diverse creative experiences, starting with the use of multimedia and acrylic, such as the Pakistani artist Shenzi Al-Sheikh, passing through the Emirati artist Nouf Saeed, who produced a group of acrylic paintings through which she highlighted the beauty of nature. The fine details, while artist Nevin Majid from Australia presented the “Anatomy Series”, through which she explores the graceful edges and curves in the texts of the Arabic letters.
