Thiruvananthapuram: Students and teachers with widespread complaints once morest the Question Paper prescribed by the Government for Class X and Plus Two examinations. This is because if you study only the Focus Area, you will not get A grade and A plus. The allegation is that it is a conscious move to reduce the number of people getting high grade.
The focus area set by SCERT was approved by the Department of Education yesterday. The question is for 70% marks from the focus area of the textbooks. The remaining 30 percent is outside the focus area. That is, you do not get A grade or A plus without studying the entire textbook. The teachers themselves point out that no matter how smart a student is, they will struggle to get to A +. The child should be given more options in the non-focus area where they are likely to be difficult. This did not happen. Instead the child was given more options in the focus area that was likely to be known and the non-focus area was left without the option of losing marks.
The offline class started in November. The concern is that the focus area has been reduced compared to last year as there is no more time to teach the entire textbooks. Last year, he got 80 per cent marks from the focus area. But the Department of Education explained that the study did not take place at all last year.
The government claims that more studies have been done since June, when classes have also been available online. With the last adoption of the liberal approach, more than 1 lakh people got A + and the government was in a complex crisis, including Plus One admission. With this in mind, the focus area was reduced.
