1072 new infections in Tokyo, 12 deaths: Tokyo Shimbun TOKYO Web

The Tokyo metropolitan government announced on the 23rd that it had confirmed 1,072 new cases of the new coronavirus and 12 deaths. Bed occupancy rate is 19.1%.

The average number of new infections per week was 1091.1 as of the 23rd, 70.5% compared to the previous week. The total number of patients in Tokyo is now 4,311,029.

By age group, 8 aged 0, 51 aged 1-4, 41 aged 5-9, 96 in their teens, 175 in their 20s, 171 in their 30s, 179 in their 40s, 143 in their 50s, 60-64 54 aged, 25 aged 65-69, 62 in their 70s, 43 in their 80s, 24 aged 90 and over. There were 154 elderly people aged 65 and over.

The deceased were men and women between the ages of 60 and 90.
