Warriors and Wizards concluded their Japanese tour with a final clash in the early morning. Just like three days ago, Golden State leaves with the victory (104-95).
For the small boxscore that goes well, follow the magic link.
The pre-season continues in the land of the rising sun and we still find Washington and Golden State on the menu for this morning confrontation. Preserved, Klay Thompson is still not in uniform just like Bradley Beal for the friends of Hogwarts. What regarding this game apart from that? Two teams that go to blows in the first half with as always on the GS side an avalanche of lost balls (15 in the first half alone!). Pre-season requires, the playing times of the holders are severely limited and Steve Kerr decides to bench his starters at halftime. Stephen Curry will have at least been able to warm up a tad (17 points in 17 minutes at 7/13 on the shoot), we’re not going to complain, huh. Wes Unseld is more patient and Kristaps Porzingis heats up in the third quarter to give Washington a comfortable lead. Golden State saves the furniture thanks to shots from the parking lot of a Patrick Baldwin Jr. in Reggie Miller mode (12 points, 4/5 from the parking lot in 17 minutes). The Wizards are holding the right end, we tell ourselves that it will do it and then we come to a money time in youth versus youth mode and that of Golden State will hit hard. Carried by a Moody-McClung-Baldwin trio on a mission, the Warriors turn their opponents over wow pancakes. They were trailing by 16 points ten minutes from the end and will end the match on a… 30-5. Game-over.

End of the tour in Japan for the two franchises, which will now return to the States for the rest of their pre-season. The Warriors will meet the Lakers on October 10 at Chase Center and during that time the Wizards will visit the Hornets in North Carolina.
