100 rockets against Israel –

Hezbollah announced it fired “100 Katyusha rockets” at two Israeli positions after a senior commander of the pro-Iranian Shiite group was killed in an Israeli military (IDF) attack in southern Lebanon. “As part of the response to the enemy’s attack and assassination” in the southern coastal city of Tyre, Hezbollah fighters attacked two Israeli positions on the annexed Golan Heights “with 100 Katyusha rockets,” the Lebanese Party of God said in a statement.

The killing of Hezbollah commander Mohammad Nehma Nasser “will not make the resistance retreat, nor weaken its will and resolve to continue to confront the occupation (Israel), nor will it reduce the pressure on the northern front,” said Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the pro-Iranian Shiite party, at a ceremony organized by the Lebanese group in its stronghold in the southern suburbs of Beirut. On the contrary, Israel will receive a “punitive response for its crime, so that it understands that the resistance is capable of driving out its army.”

Earlier, Hezbollah confirmed the killing of commander Nasser in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This brings to 358 the number of militants of the Islamist group killed by the IDF in Lebanon and Syria since the clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah fighters began after the October 7 attack by Hamas on the Jewish state.
