Abu Dhabi | Lulu Group Chairman MA Yousafzai has donated 2 lakh dirhams to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s plan to provide 100 crore food parcels (One Billion Meals Project) to deserving people in 50 countries.

MA Yousafzai said he was delighted to be a part of this great humanitarian initiative. The message of this project to the world is that it is one of the best humanitarian initiatives to feed the hungry. This act of the ruler of Dubai delivering food to the hungry is the best example of humanity
He added that he is committed to fulfilling his responsibility to the community and supports this project which will bring relief to the distressed people.
Last year (2021) the 100 Million Meals project was able to reach 220 million people.
It reflects the UAE’s year of compassion for the poor around the world. Distribution will be irrespective of caste, religion, race and color.
This is the third year in a row that Yusufali has been involved in the food package project. Yusuf Ali donated 10 lakh dirhams to the 100 million food parcels scheme launched last year.
It supplies food to one billion people in 50 countries, including Palestine, Jordan, Sudan, Brazil, Kenya, Ghana, Angola, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Kyrgyzstan.
