Nearly ten years following the closure of its stores, Zellers is back on the scene by launching its very first e-commerce site and will also be present on the shelves of Hudson’s Bay stores.

The new e-commerce site will be available in early 2023 to offer products at low prices.
“We know how special Zellers holds a special place in the hearts and minds of people here. The chain “where the lowest price rules” was more than a shopping destination; it was also a place to build and support community,” Zellers chief business officer Adam Powell said in a statement Wednesday.
Household and home décor items, furniture, small appliances and toys will initially be offered on the website. Clothing will be added to these categories a few months later. “It’s a brand deeply rooted in Canadian culture,” said Mr. Powell.
Recall that Zellers stores had disappeared from Quebec in 2013 when the Hudson’s Bay Company sold its leases to Target, which however did not manage to do well in the province.
