Teddy is a young British man who, at the age of 10, has very mature thoughts. He believes that the famous emoji with its prominent front teeth and big square glasses is, according to him, “stigmatizing” for all people who wear glasses.
The young boy decides to make a petition to change things and intends to get what he wants: change the emoji. “I’m asking Apple to change the name of the emoji to Genius Emoji and change the design to the new one I drew below,” he says, sharing his redesign idea: a glasses emoji smiling.
“He has thin glasses and frames, and a little smiling face instead of the horrible buck teeth. I like wearing glasses because they allow me to see better, and they are beautiful and elegant”said Teddy proudly.
His campaign has collected more than a thousand signatures, he hopes that it will reach the ears of Apple executives.
