You can also experience exploring the closed forest area and learn regarding the engineering success in building the furnicular here.
In addition to strolling through the cultural gallery, you can also stop by their souvenir shop. The gallery operates from 9 am to 4.30 pm.
The Habitat Penang Hill
Bukit Bendera is a tropical rainforest area that is rich in coniferous plants, orchids and has more than 100 species of birds.
To enjoy the beauty of the forest atmosphere, you may continue your journey to The Habitat as well.
Here you can go through the canopy bridge ie Langgur Walk to go to its main attraction which is Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk which is the highest viewing location in Pulau Pinang!
Little Village
Arriving at the top of Bukit Bendera, various activities can be done from simply strolling around enjoying the cool air to visiting some interesting locations such as Little Village.

Don’t you know, at the top of Bukit Bendera there is a mosque built for the use of Muslims who come to visit and work here.
Bukit Bendera Mosque is so unique because its dome can be seen from afar by deck visitors because of its striking color.

Sri Aruloli Thirumurugan
This attraction, also known as the Penang Hill Hindu Temple, is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Penang that was built in the 1800s.
This Dravidian-style temple has 4 parts namely vimana, mandapa, gopurams and chawadis. Here also houses a water tank for sacred ceremonies.
Bukit Bendera Historical Building
Bukit Bendera has several historic buildings and is a bungalow hub that displays architecture from English colonial to Asian and modern architecture.
Among them Bel Retiro Gate House, First Generation Furniture, Cannon, Police Hall and others.
Monkey Cup Garden @ Monkey Cup Garden
This location is the first in West Malaysia with a collection of over 100 types of plants from lowlands to highlands.
You can not only see various species of plants but you can see animals such as squirrels, squirrels, birds, monkeys, butterflies and many more.

Bukit Bendera Dining Location

Way to Bukit Bendera
To go up to the top you need to buy a ticket for the funicular service which is the train. This furnicular service operates every day from 6.30 am until 10 pm.
This service will run every one hour. If you want to buy tickets at the counter, the counter is open from 6.15am to 7.45pm.
Prices for furnicular service tickets vary according to age, type of route (normal lane @ fast lane) and others. You can also get promotional prices at certain times or subscribe to a monthly pass.
