Games like memory, scrabble, and crossword puzzles are one of the best ways to exercise our brain. Over time, these activities optimize our neural capabilities that improve cognitive retention, concentration, and memory, ensuring long-term mental health.
7. Question yourself
Challenging our own theories forces us to have different points of view allowing our mind to analyze and think differently, giving us the possibility to deactivate possible mental blocks, discover interesting things and find new solutions and theories to realize a dream, achieve a goal or have a more impartial view of a fact.
8. Listen to music and learn the lyrics
This exercise is not only exciting, music has rhythms that can stimulate our brain in different ways. It helps us to relax, to concentrate, to carry out tasks with greater energy. If we add to this the task of learning the lyrics of a song, we will be doing a memory and reading exercise that expands our vocabulary.
9. Exercise
It is good for the body but it is also good for the mind. When we exercise our body, we release endorphins that generate positive feelings and thoughts, this makes us relax, produce better ideas, be more alert and ready for the challenges that a new day brings us.
10. Exchange ideas
Apply the saying “two heads are better than one”: the exchange of ideas with people who share an affinity on a particular topic, causes our brain to start doing the exercise of creation, which increases our levels of creativity and ability to generate new concepts.
