Arakawa is from Aichi prefecture and joined Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka as a specially designated player while attending Takushoku University. After graduating from university, he worked as a trainee at Shiga Lakestars. Joined Hokkaido.
He is a player who features aggressive and sharp drive toward the goal and skillful step work.
In the 2021-22 season, he participated in 47 regular season games (/ 48 games) at Yokohama Excellence.
