1 woman returned to Vietnam from China to denounce human traffickers

(PLO)- After 6 years of being trafficked to China, Ms. U was allowed to return to her hometown and denounce the person who cheated on her.

On February 14, Ky Son district police was detained and detained Lo Van Duc (33 years old, residing in Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An) for investigation of human trafficking.

The decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and the detention order of the accused Duc were approved by the People’s Procuracy of Ky Son district.

According to the profile, in 2016, Ms. LTU (21 years old, residing in Ky Son district) got married and had a difficult situation. Knowing the situation of Ms. U, Duc approached and said that she would help bring Ms. U to China to find a job with high salary. Duc also said that if U agrees to work, the family will also receive 90 million VND.

Germany received 10 million VND from Tu. In addition, Germany also brought 70 million VND to hand over to Ms. U’s family in her hometown.

After 6 years of humiliating life in China, Ms. U returned to her hometown and then denounced Duc to the Ky Son District Public Security Bureau.

Leaders of Ky Son district police entered the investigation and arrested Duc. Duc confessed that he colluded with the woman in China to bring Ms. U to sell. However, Duc only knew this person’s name Tu but did not know where his hometown was.
