What happened?

According to BILD information, the woman and the businessman, who is also the first chairman of the FC fan club “Wild South”, are said to have clashed because Loew-Albrecht was hanging up a fan club flag in the stadium, but the woman wanted to prevent this. The accused is said to have been drunk and also struck during a scuffle. The police informed the club regarding the ad.

Immediate resignation

Loew-Albrecht initially announced consequences within the club on Thursday and, following discussions with President Werner Wolf (66) and committee members, his resignation from his position in the Members’ Council.

In the followingnoon, FC then made the step official and announced on its website: “The FC Members Council Robin Loew-Albrecht has resigned from his position as Members Council in accordance with §16.9 of the club’s statutes. The resignation takes effect immediately. He informed the Members Council in advance regarding his decision.”

Loew-Albrecht has been part of the 15-strong committee since 2021, which among other things proposes the FC board. He is replaced by Wolfgang Gommersbach on the council, who also received 54.35 percent of the votes in the November 2021 election and only did not come to the committee because it is limited to 15 seats.
