1.51 million cars exported by China in 7 months

Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Thursday showed that China’s auto exports hit a new monthly record in July 2022..

According to the association, Chinese auto companies exported regarding 290,000 units of cars last month, up 67% year on year and 16.5% month on month..

During the first seven months of 2022, car exports amounted to regarding 1.51 million units, and passenger cars occupied the lion’s share..

The association estimated that car exports for the whole year may exceed 2.4 million units.
