1.22 per mille: Drunk driver crashed into tree in Mühlviertel

The man from the Perg district was driving in the village of Ebenedt at around 9:15 p.m. when he veered off the road on the Kerschbaumweber farm track and crashed into a tree. The car automatically notified the emergency services via eCall.

After receiving first aid, the man was taken to the Amstetten State Hospital by ambulance. A breathalyzer test was positive: the 63-year-old had a blood alcohol level of 1.22 per mille.
