After Sergio Massa acknowledged defeat in the runoff this Sunday, November 19, the word of his opponent, the leader of La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei, was expected from one moment to the next.

Around 10 p.m., the closest leaders began to parade in the libertarian bunker and the elected president’s speech began.

“It seems so,” Milei said as soon as he started his speech referring to the election result. “Today the reconstruction of Argentina begins,” she added.

He also extended his gratitude to the prosecutors who joined this election, along with Mauricio Macri and Patricia Bullrich.

“Today begins the end of Argentine decline,” he added. “We know that there are people who are going to resist, to them we say, within the law, everything, outside the law, nothing,” he added.

“We want to ask the Government to be responsible, to understand that a new Argentina has arrived and to be responsible until the end of their mandate, on 10/12,” he added.

“The situation in Argentina is critical, there is no room for lukewarmness, for half measures,” he said. “If we do not move forward with the structural changes we need, we are going to plunge into the worst crisis in history.”

Then Milei referred to poverty and destitution and said that this only has a solution with libertarian ideas. “We are going to work with all the nations of the free world, side by side to get Argentina out of the place where it is,” she asserted.
