To achieve this, Lubuntu uses the LXDE desktop environment.
Description
One of the goals of the Lubuntu project is to obtain official support from Canonical, the company that is the official sponsor of Ubuntu.
Currently this distribution exists primarily in the form of the lubuntu-desktop metapackage [1] usable from an Ubuntu distribution (or derivative).
However, this distribution can be installed from a live CD starting with version 9.10 b23. You must pass (The genus Passer was created by the French zoologist Mathurin Jacques…) through a terminal (on the command line (Command: term used in many fields, generally it designates an order or a…) to launch the installer) by doing sudo ubiquity.

Ubuntu : 153 840 KB Xubuntu : 156 852 KB Lubuntu : 57 908 KB.
Thus, this distribution is suitable for old computers, having less than 256 MB of RAM.
