As the People’s Power floor leader Kwon Seong-dong has decided to step down after five months, attention is focused on who will be the next floor leader.
A general meeting of the National Assembly for the election of a new floor leader is scheduled to be held on the 19th, and the outline of the candidate group is expected to be revealed after the Chuseok holiday.

Floor leader Kwon Seong-dong, who was the ‘one-top’ of the ruling party after Lee Jun-seok’s vacancy, announced his resignation on the 8th.
After overturning the ‘check-and-run’ agreement, controversies over involvement in the private recruitment of the president’s office, and the leak of the president’s text messages, he eventually resigned after five months in disgrace.

If the court puts a brake on the ‘non-captain Jeong Jin-seok’ system, it may be necessary to hold the key to clearing the confusion
So, within the party, lawmakers with a sense of self-defeating weight climbed to the top of the list, and about 10 senior officials with three or more terms are candidates.
A method of re-appointing former Vice Chairman Ho-Young Joo, who previously suspended his duties by the court, is also being discussed instead of the primary between candidates.
This is because if the election is held in a situation where the party’s internal redness has not completely subsided, there is a risk that it will be seen as a power struggle.
With the votes of first-time and re-elected lawmakers, who have recently emerged as the so-called ‘New Yun-Nuclear’, as a variable, competition among candidates is expected to rise above the surface after the Chuseok holiday.
However, we cannot rule out the possibility that the election of the next floor leader will be postponed without an appointment if the court again upholds Lee Jun-seok’s hand on the injunction interrogation date scheduled for the 14th.
