In Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, the Legoland theme park opened to celebrate the 100th Children’s Day.
It is said to be the 10th largest in the world and the largest in Asia.

Chuncheon Legoland Theme Park has finally been officially opened.
Literally, it’s phosphoric.
As social distancing was lifted, crowds flocked from all over the country.
When you pass through the entrance, a world made of colorful Lego blocks unfolds.
First of all, ‘Mini Land’ made of major cities such as Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju with Lego catches the attention of tourists.

On the pirate ship, a full-fledged water fun begins.
It feels like entering a fairy tale world.
The adults who returned to their childhood were also excited.
His clothes were soaked, but he was just having fun.

There are also loads of rides made out of Lego.
More than 40 rides, from merry-go-round to trains, vikings, and roller coasters, never leave you bored.

The feared city traffic disruption did not occur.
This was thanks to limiting the number of visitors to 10,000 per day and operating shuttle buses frequently.
However, as many people flocked at once, the queue for admission could extend up to 1.5 km.
Legoland opened after 11 years of business.
Interest is focused on whether it will become a new tourist attraction representing the region.
