The Presidential Transition Committee (Acquisition Committee) decided to review the first-phase new city reconstruction project, such as Bundang and Ilsan, as a mid- to long-term national task. It has formalized the speed control for the first phase of the new city reconstruction project. In particular, there were concerns that the exemption from precise safety examinations for apartment houses aged 30 years or more could lead to indiscriminate reconstruction.

Accordingly, the transition committee decided that if the first phase of the new city reconstruction promise was pushed, it could give an abnormal signal to the real estate market, and it began to adjust the speed. In fact, even in the new government’s national task to be announced at the beginning of next month, the contents of the first new city reconstruction are likely to be omitted from the short-term task.

Meanwhile, the transition committee announced that it had prepared 110 national tasks and 520 tasks under the six national goals.
