Croatia and Argentina have reached the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Croatia won 4-2 after a penalty shoot-out in the quarterfinal match against Brazil held yesterday (9th) at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
Croatia, who faced Brazil, who were strong candidates for the championship, gave up one point in the first half of extra time after the first half ended 0-0, and then scored a goal in the second half of extra time to enter the penalty shootout.
Brazil’s first and fourth kickers missed, and they advanced to the semi-finals.
On the same day, the Netherlands and Argentina, who played in the quarterfinals at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, also scored 2-2 until overtime and could not decide a winner.
In the subsequent penalty shootout, Argentina won 4-3 to advance to the semi-finals.

Croatia and Argentina will play on the 13th to decide which team will advance to the final.
