The Changjiang shark ‘Fuzhou’ gave birth to a chick ‘F9C22’ in Wuhan, China.

‘F9C22’ was born on the 27th of last month at the Institute of Aquatic Biology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In addition to the newly born ‘F9C22’, IHB is protecting 6 guinea pigs, of which 3 are being bred through artificial breeding.

The spearmint is the only subspecies of slug that live in freshwater. Found only in parts of the middle and lower reaches of the river, the spearfish have been living here for 25 million years.
