Kim Yeo-jung, deputy director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, spoke once more following two days on the 5th, criticizing Defense Minister Seo-wook’s ‘preemptive strike’ remarks once more, but stating that “South Korea is not viewed as an opponent of armed force.”
Deputy Director Kim said in a statement released through the Korean Central News Agency on the same day, “We will not fire a single bullet at south Korea.”
“This is not a view that we view as a comparison of military power with a purely nuclear-weapon country, but because we are the same people who should not fight each other,” he explained.
However, in Minister Seo’s ‘preemptive strike’ remarks, “It is a very dangerous and bad idea for the South Korean military to call us the enemy and to preemptively strike us under any conditions under any conditions.” repeatedly raised the issue.
“If there comes a situation in which South Korea chooses a military confrontation with us, our nuclear war force will inevitably have to carry out its mission,” he said.
