Actors such as Song Kang-ho, who won the Best Actor Award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, met the Japanese audience in time for the release of the movie ‘The Broker’.
It is the first time in over two years that a large number of famous Korean actors have visited Japan since the corona entry restrictions, but the scene was also hot.
Correspondent Lee Kyung-ah from Tokyo visited.

As the four actors entered the stage, cheers and applause poured in.
These are the cast of ‘The Broker’, directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, a hot topic at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
[송강호 / 영화배우 : 일본과 한국의 특별한 얘기가 아니라 우리가 살아가는 모두의 이야기라는 것을 여러분에게 선보이게 돼 너무너무 의미 있는 날인 것 같습니다.]
[이지은 / 영화배우 : 긴 장편 영화로 출연한 것은 처음이어서 그 부분이 저에게는 도전이라면 도전이었습니다.]
The actors recalled that the atmosphere at the filming site was always fun even in the midst of Corona.
[강동원 / 영화배우 : 다행인지 불행인지 감독님이 (생일에 한국에서) 쓸쓸히 혼자 보내고 계시길래 함께 식사를 했습니다.]
[이주영 / 영화배우 : 감독님이 제 작품을 보셨다는 것, 그리고 저라는 배우를 알고 계셨다는 것 자체가 저한테는 정말 신기한 경험이었습니다.]
Director Koreeda showed his special attachment to this work, which was made in Korea for the first time.

This is the first time that a large number of famous Korean actors have visited Japan since Corona.
Due to the crowds waiting for them, the area around the event was very crowded even before the start.
This is due to the spread of K-contents boom around the world, centering on Netflix, as well as the Korean Wave, which has been passed down from parent to child generation.
