[문화]Singer Lee Seung-gi donates 2 billion won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital

Singer Lee Seung-gi donated 2 billion won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital and practiced warm deeds at the end of the year.

Seoul National University Children’s Hospital said that Lee Seung-gi visited the hospital on the morning of the 29th and delivered the donation, and announced that it would resolve overcrowding in the children’s ward and improve aging facilities.

In addition, it added that some of the improved wards are planning to review the name change to ‘Lee Seung-gi’s ward’.

Lee Seung-gi conveyed the background of the donation, saying that he hopes that this sponsorship will serve as an opportunity to build an environment for pediatric and adolescent patients and draw social attention.

Previously, Mr. Lee received 5 billion won belatedly due to a conflict with his agency, which he had been working with for 18 years, over the settlement of music usage fees, and expressed his intention to donate the entire amount excluding legal costs.
