“I didn’t know anything, but now I got a call from my friends and it seems like something has happened.
The feeling of being the youngest to win was a surprise.
[임윤찬]
“Actually, I don’t think it’s such a big achievement because I think it’s something that can make people interested in the contest for just three months because he was one of the least interested in the contest.”
At the age of 7, the motivation for finding a local piano academy was the same as any other boy in Korea.

“I didn’t do anything, so I was a bit envious of those friends, and there was a Taekwondo swimming piano. So I thought that choosing one of them worked with my parents..”
There was a time when I thought, “I just want to go into the mountains and play the piano.”
[임윤찬]
“When I said that I wanted to go to the mountain, it wasn’t that I really wanted to go to the mountain, it was just that I wanted to live for the sake of music.”
It was thanks to the habit of contemplation that music nurtured that the depth of speech became deeper than that of adults.
[임윤찬]
“I think I will develop the habit of reviewing and reviewing, which was the most important thing for Beethoven, in my life. If you have bad things in your heart, the music becomes really bad. Because losing is the really scary thing regarding music.”
I also realized that growing up as a musician isn’t just regarding perfecting technique.
[임윤찬]
“I started to play the piano well, and I had an absurd thought regarding what to do to communicate and communicate with the audience. It’s for…”
While talking regarding the person who inspired his music, Lim unexpectedly mentioned Ureuk, a gayageum player from the Silla period.
[임윤찬]
“There’s a part of that is the sound of a certain gayageum by a certain teacher Ureuk who suddenly appears following he vomits a certain resentment, and it’s regarding a state that transcends everything.”
After the interview, he listened to the song he played while imagining Ureuk’s gayageum, which left only a record of being sad but not sad.
