Have you heard of the term ‘chiller’? A chiller is a type of equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing facilities. In the fab that makes semiconductors, local temperature control is required, and a chiller is used for this. In other words, it can be said that the chiller is an indispensable and important equipment for semiconductor production.
The second episode of ‘Working Together Tomorrow (ESG)’ contains a story of coexistence with ‘Techist’, a partner who develops and makes chillers. The main character of the story, Dohyeong Kim of the Future Research and Development Team of Techist, has been researching chillers for 20 years, and chillers are precious to him like a child. Then he sent the chiller equipment away to Samsung Electronics for performance verification tests.
