According to the forecast released by the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 23rd of last month, there is a 50% chance that the temperature from July to September will be higher than normal.
In other words, the probability that the temperature is lower or similar to that of the normal year is only 50% in total.
Is it likely that it will be hotter than usual?
According to the projections, there are several factors contributing to the increase in temperature, one of which is the reduction of snow in Tibet.

낮 기온이 33도 이상인 폭염 일수 밤 기온이 25도 이하로 떨어지지 않는 열대야 일수가 과거보다 더 늘어나는 추세이거든요. 올여름 만만치 않은 여름이 될 것으로 전망을 하고요, 2018년 홍천에서 나타난 41도 기록을 깰 것이냐 이거는 단정적으로 말할 수 없습니다. 굉장히 무더운 여름을 예상하고 있습니다.
8월 중순까지는 이러한 기상 조건에 들기 때문에 무더운 날씨가 이어진다. 그래서 앞으로 한 달 반은 각오를 해야 된다. 지금 막 불 때기 시작한 격이에요. 불을 계속 때면 한 달간 때면 어떻겠어요. 더 덥죠. ]
