Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his wife, and two of his aides are seated in the garden of the British Prime Minister’s residence.

Wine and snacks are placed on the table.

After that, 9 people can be seen standing and chatting.

All are not wearing masks.

The British Guardian published this photo while exclusively reporting that it was the site of a party that took place on May 15, 2020, while the Corona 19 lockdown measures were in effect.

The Prime Minister’s Office explained that it was a ‘working meeting’ site, but the controversy grew as an email that looked like an invitation letter was leaked.

The email, allegedly sent by Johnson’s secretary Martin Reynolds to more than 100 employees in the prime minister’s office, reads: “Come, each of you, bring a drink.”

The British government is in a position to find out the truth through an independent investigation.

[에드워드 아거 / 영국 보건장관 : 이런 의혹으로 인해 많은 분들이 언짢으신 점 이해합니다. 그래서 총리가 독립조사를 요청한 것이 옳았다고 봅니다.]

However, in a poll of more than 5,900 adults, 56% of the respondents already agreed to resign.

Opposition parties are also demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Johnson along with an investigation into the facts.

[짐 섀넌 / 민주연합당(DUP) 의원 : 모든 정보가 빠짐없이 경찰에 전달될 것을 보장해주십시오.]

While some Conservative parties are also beginning to look into the situation of Prime Minister Johnson’s resignation, attention is focused on what position Johnson will express in the regular parliamentary question-and-answer session scheduled for the 12th local time.
