A total lunar eclipse, in which the Earth’s shadow completely covers the moon, has been observed in the United States and South America.
According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), a total lunar eclipse was observed from 11:29 pm local time on the 15th local time for 85 minutes.
In Korea, we might not see this lunar eclipse because it was daytime, but we can observe it on November 8th.
The moon, which is hidden by the earth’s shadow, is not seen at all, but is also called ‘Blood Moon’ because it reflects the red wavelength of the sun’s light and appears red.
