Although it was later than major overseas countries, the Japanese government decided to accept foreign group tourists from the 10th of next month.
The tourism industry, tired of the recession, is looking forward to it, but there are concerns that it may lead to infection due to the different culture of quarantine such as wearing a mask.

Nikko, a famous tourist destination in Japan, is home to Toshogu Shrine, a World Heritage Site.
Group tourists came to Hawaii for the first time since the corona crisis.
This is a pilot project to see if there are any problems with quarantine measures, etc. ahead of the resumption of foreign tourism on the 10th of next month.

The Japanese government is in the position to gradually expand to individual tours, starting with group tours that are less risky by restricting the flow of movement, and monitoring the infection status.
The tourism industry, which has been hit directly by the corona virus for over two years, is welcoming.
However, the culture is different from countries that significantly eased corona-related regulations before Japan, such as the United States and Europe, and there are many concerns.

The number of corona infections in Japan has recently fallen below 30,000 a day, showing a modest decline.
However, the rising number of new infections in some countries, including the United States, is a worrying factor.

It is true that the recent depreciation of the yen is favorable for attracting foreign tourists.
However, it remains to be seen how well foreigners will respond to the stricter Japanese atmosphere compared to overseas, starting with wearing a mask.
