[국제]Explaining the Corona situation “Kolok”… Japan’s chief cabinet minister also confirmed infection

[앵커]

In Japan, where the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases exceeds 200,000 a day, a government spokesperson who meets with Prime Minister Kishida from time to time has also been infected with Corona 19.

The number of infections is increasing explosively, but the government has no specific measures, and there is a lot of bitterness about the delay in vaccination of healthcare workers who are in charge of patients.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno, a spokesperson for the Japanese government, was explaining the situation of the corona infection on the 22nd.

After showing symptoms of fever while coughing continuously, the next day, it was confirmed that he was infected with COVID-19.

Matsuno also met with Prime Minister Kishida and others before the press conference, but the Japanese government said that there were no close contacts at the official residence.

As the number of infected people in Japan surpassed 200,000 a day, the highest since the corona crisis, anyone can get it.

For the first time, the number of people who have been hospitalized for Corona or are recuperating at home or in a hotel has surpassed 1 million.

The Japanese government said it would focus on the fourth vaccination without considering a state of emergency or semi-emergency.

But as infections skyrocket, vaccination of health care workers to treat patients is just beginning.
