China has officially acknowledged former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for his contribution to improving Sino-Japanese relations.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mazaoshi, deputy minister, visited the Japanese embassy in China to express condolences.

Earlier, two days following the announcement of the death of Chinese President Xi Jinping, he sent condolences to Japan in his personal name.

Xi expressed his condolences, saying that former Prime Minister Abe made efforts to improve relations between China and Japan.

But concerns are growing as the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe leads to the LDP’s victory in the House of Councilors election.

This is because, as a country capable of war, Japan will go on the path of becoming a military power as constitutional amendment is pushed forward.

In the end, there is also the prospect of participating in overseas wars and joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and NATO.

The Chinese government has effectively opposed Japan’s constitutional amendments.

On the Chinese Internet, negative reviews and ridiculing posts regarding former Prime Minister Abe continue to rise.

The main reason is that they did not reflect on the war of aggression, including visiting the Yasukuni Shrine.

China has paid diplomatic courtesy over the death of former Prime Minister Abe, but is wary of accelerating Japan’s right-wing movement.
