Has the transportation of ready-mixed concrete at construction sites in the metropolitan area been completely stopped?

For two days yesterday and yesterday, the ready-mixed concrete transportation union negotiated with major ready-mixed concrete manufacturers in the metropolitan area, such as Sampyo Industries and Eugene Enterprises, regarding the increase in transportation fees.
However, as we might not reach a final agreement, we decided to refuse transportation from today.
The union demanded that the transportation fee in the metropolitan area be raised by 15,000 won from 56,000 won per episode to 70,000 won and that the manufacturer bear the entire cost of urea water.
However, the negotiations broke down as the ready-mixed concrete manufacturers countered that it would be difficult to raise the price as the manufacturer bears the current economic cost.
Manufacturers are also known to have placed contract restrictions on car owners over the age of 70.
As the negotiations broke down yesterday, the union plans to go on strike from today until the end of the freight rate negotiations.
Earlier, on the 28th of last month, a vote in favor of refusal of transportation was held, and 82.7% of the 6,500 participating union members supported it.
Industry sources say that if the suspension of ready-mixed concrete vehicles continues for a long time following the strike by the cargo coalition last month, it may affect the site.
The two sides are scheduled to meet once more at 3 pm today to conduct negotiations, so the possibility of a dramatic settlement cannot be ruled out.
So far, it has been reported by the Ministry of Economy.
