Al-Marrakushi is an impact crater on the near side of the Moon. The name was officially adopted by the International Astronomical Union (L’Union astronomique internationale (IAU; in English International Astronomical Union,…) (IAU) in 1976, in reference to Al-Marrakushi (1185 – around 1281-2) Prior to this date it was classified as a satellite crater (Satellite may refer to:) of the Langrenus crater as Langrenus D.
