Webbs’ share price is strong as another victim of the so-called ‘brain-eating amoeba’ has occurred in the United States.

As of 2:10 pm on the 3rd, Webs is trading at 2955 won, up 75 won (2.60%) from the previous trading day.

On the 2nd (local time), local media such as CNN reported that a resident of Charlotte County, Florida, died from being infected with the brain-eating amoeba, Naegleria fowleri.

According to reports, this resident, whose identity has not been disclosed, was unusually found to have been infected by using tap water. “The epidemiological investigation is currently underway, but it appears that the infection was caused by washing the sinuses with tap water,” said Jae Williams, public affairs officer for the Florida Department of Health.

Naegleria fowleri, famous for its stimulating nickname of brain-eating amoeba, lives in lakes and rivers with shallow water and high water temperature, and is known to enter the nose with water and invade the brain through the trachea to destroy brain cells.

Webs is producing ‘Doctor Shower’, a body-friendly filter shower made of the only eco-friendly PCTG material in Korea that does not detect the environmental hormone bisphenol A (BPA). In 2020, during the Incheon tap water caterpillar incident, sales surged and there was a shortage of goods.
