The Cheongju University soccer team won a 1-0 victory over Korea University on the followingnoon of the 7th.
The Cheongju University soccer team met Korea University, a strong candidate for the championship, in the 4th game of the 2023 College Football U-League 1 held at the Cheongju University soccer stadium that day and won the victory with Lee Won-joon’s second half goal.
In the second half of the 90th minute, Cheongju University’s Department of Energy Convergence Engineering sophomore Wonjun Lee shook the net with a header from the right centering of Hyeonjun Kang, a freshman in the Department of Physical Education.
After being substituted in the 70th minute of the second half, Lee Won-jun stirred up the Korea University defense team and showed great performance. The Cheongju University soccer team is currently in third place in the region with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
