[단독] ‘Advanced’ budget system of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance… tax delay humiliation

The next-generation budget accounting system (D-Brain), which the Ministry of Strategy and Finance had largely reorganized this month, was overloaded, and there was an accident that interfered with people’s tax payment.

According to the official on the 10th, it was confirmed that there was a failure in the system as access to the financial sector rushed to Debrain on that day. As a result, errors occurred in the National Tax Service Hometax bank virtual account payment and the National Tax Inquiry payment service linked with Debrain, causing great inconvenience to users.

Prior to this, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance reorganized the Debrain system on the 3rd by adding a function to pay national taxes. The National Tax Service is planning to extend the deadline for paying the withholding tax from the 10th to the 12th as some national taxes become impossible to pay due to a debrain disorder.

An official from the Ministry of Strategy and Finance said, “There was an overload due to a large number of connections from banks and others during the tax payment period.”
