Mariupol, the Ukrainian port city, has fallen into the hands of Russian troops following the fall of the ironworks, the last battleground.

The first civilian vessel to come in following re-opening the port following sea demining has been completed.

TAS news agency reported that the ship is expected to transport 2,700 tons of steel products to Russia.

The Ukrainian side accused Russia of looting the temporarily occupied Mariupol.

Ukrainian steelmaker Metinvest is stealing goods stored in the port at will.

This isn’t the first time there has been a looting controversy.

Previously, it was discovered that Russia was smuggling grain from occupied areas to Syria and other countries.
